Child Safety Standards

Our zero-tolerance policy

SphereMessage has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, trafficking and any other conduct that sexualizes, harms or exploits a child.

These standards apply to profiles, photos, videos, messages, Hangouts, Moments, usernames, biographies, comments and every other part of the SphereMessage platform.

Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not create, upload, request, distribute, promote, store or engage with:

• Child sexual abuse material, commonly referred to as CSAM.
• Sexual content or sexualized imagery involving a minor.
• Grooming or attempts to establish sexual contact with a minor.
• Sextortion, sexual coercion or blackmail involving a minor.
• Child trafficking, solicitation or commercial sexual exploitation.
• Content that threatens, sexualizes, endangers or exploits a child.
• Attempts to obtain or share a minor's private, identifying or location information for harmful purposes.
• Links, instructions or requests intended to help someone find, create or distribute illegal child exploitation material.

Reporting child-safety concerns

SphereMessage provides in-app reporting tools that allow users to report accounts, profiles, messages, Hangouts and other content.

Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse, exploitation or immediate danger are treated as urgent safety matters.

Review and enforcement

SphereMessage may investigate reported accounts and content, remove prohibited material, restrict features, suspend accounts or permanently disable users who violate these standards.

We may preserve relevant account and content information when reasonably necessary to investigate a report, prevent further harm or comply with a valid legal obligation.

Users who attempt to evade enforcement by creating additional accounts may also be permanently restricted from accessing SphereMessage.

Reporting to authorities

When SphereMessage becomes aware of confirmed or suspected illegal child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may report the matter to appropriate regional, national or international child-protection and law-enforcement authorities where required by applicable law.

SphereMessage will cooperate with valid legal investigations and requests from authorized authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

Age restrictions and account safety

SphereMessage requires users to confirm that they are at least 18 years old. Accounts believed to belong to a minor may be reviewed, restricted or removed.

Users should immediately report an account if they believe the person operating it is under 18 or is attempting to involve a child in unsafe or sexual activity.
